简要说明
一、本篇资料反映广东运输和邮电通信业发展的基本状况。
交通运输业资料主要包括：运输线路里程、运输设备拥有量、货物运输量和旅客运输量、港口设备和吞吐量、航站吞吐量等。
邮电通信业资料主要包括：邮电通信主要工具及设备情况，主要邮电业务完成情况，邮电通信发展水平等。
二、资料调查范围和统计单位
1. 铁路资料：包括国家铁路、地方铁路和合资铁路运营情况，不含军用铁路及由厂矿企事业单位自建的铁路专用线和专用铁道。
2. 公路、水路、港口资料：(1)公路和水路线路里程为年末通车和通航里程数。公路里程、桥梁、渡口统计从2006年起包括农村公路。(2)民用汽车拥有量，根据公安交通管理局所属车管部门登记注册的车辆资料整理；(3)民用运输船舶拥有量，不含渔船、水上施工作业船，根据水上航运管理部门登记注册的船舶资料整理；(4)公路、水路客货运输量资料，包括在广东公路水路运输管理部门注册登记或审批备案的、从事营业性公路、水路客、货运输的营业性运输工具(包括个体联户)所完成的运输量。此部分数据2005年之前由统计局收集整理，2005年起改由省交通运输厅通过抽样调查方法负责收集整理。2009年起，按国家交通运输部统一部署改用新调查方法收集整理。由于新调查方法对统计对象、城乡地域等重新明确和界定，导致数据与以往不可比，使用时敬请注意。(5)港口设备及吞吐量，根据各地港务管理部门注册的港口企业和从事港口生产活动单位的资料整理。
3. 管道运输资料：包括输原油、输成品油、输天然气、输其他气体的管线长度、输送能力及完成的运输量。数据主要来源于中国石油天然气集团公司和中国石油化工集团公司所属的本地各管道运输单位。
4. 民航运输资料：统计对象为在广东境内注册、从事民用航空运输飞行和通用飞行的航空运输企业和民用航空机场，不包括在境内运输飞行的国内其他航空公司及外国航空公司。统计范围为各航空公司从事国内运输、港澳台运输、国际运输的定期航班航线条数及里程、运输量及期末飞机在册架数、民用航空机场航班起降架次和客货吞吐量等。
5. 邮电通信资料：包括全省电信和邮政运营企业为社会公众提供的各类电信和邮政服务，不含专用网业务资料。资料主要来源于省通信管理局、邮政管理局以及邮政、电信、移动、联通和铁通等运营单位。
Brief Introduction
Ⅰ. The data in this chapter cover mainly the basic conditions of the development of transport, postal and telecommunication services in Guangdong Province.
The data on transport cover mainly the route length of five means of transportation, the possession of transport equipment, the freight and passenger traffic the possession of port equipment and the volume of freight handled in ports, the passenger and freight throughput of airports, etc.
The data on postal and telecommunication services cover mainly major means and equipment of post and telecommunications, achievements of main businesses of postal and telecommunication services, and the level of development of postal and telecommunication services, etc.
Ⅱ. Coverage and Statistical Units
1. Data on railway transportation: including the operation and management of the national, local and joint-venture railways, but excluding the railways for military purpose, lines built by factories, mines, enterprises and institutions for exclusive use, and special railways.
2. Data on highways, waterways and ports: (1) The length of highways and waterways refer to the length open to traffic or navigation at the end of the year. The Statistical of leng of highways,bridges,ferries from 2006 include rural highway. (2) The data on the possession of civil motor vehicles are compiled according to registration data of vehicles at the divisions of vehicle management under the traffic management departments of public security authorities. (3) The data on the possession of civil vessels exclusive of fishing boats and engineering ships over water are compiled according to registration data of vessels at the authorities of navigation and port management. (4) The data on the volume of transportation by highways and waterways, including all enterprises, institutions, and individuals (or individual partnerships) registered in Guangdong for passenger and freight transportation by highways and waterways, were collected and prepared by the Bureau of Statistics before 2005. Since 2005, the data were collected and prepared by the Department of Transport of Guangdong through sample survey. Since 2009, the data are collected and prepared in accordance with the new survey method stipulated by the Ministry of Transport. Since the new survey method has new criteria for survey target and urban-rural division, the data are not comparable with those of the previous years. (5) The data on possession of port equipment and production capacity and handling capacity of ports are compiled according to registration data of port enterprises and production units at local port authorities.
3. Data on pipeline transport: The data on pipeline transport cover the length, transport capacity and the volume transported of pipelines of petroleum (crude oil), petroleum products, natural gas and other gases. The data are mainly provided by enterprises engaged in the pipeline transport subordinate to the China National Petroleum Corporation and China Petrochemical Corporation.
4. Data on civil aviation transport: Data on civil aviation transport include air transport enterprises and civil airports registered for civil aviation transport and general aviation, excluding other domestic aviation companies and foreign aviation companies engaged in air transport within Chinese territory. The statistics cover regular flights of domestic transport, transport between the mainland of China and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and international transport managed by various aviation companies, concerning the number of lines, length, transport volume, number of registered aircrafts at the end of the reference period, sorties at civil airports, and volumes of passenger and freight handled at civil airports.
5. Data on post and telecommunications: Data in this category include telecommunications and postal services rendered to the public by telecommunications and postal enterprises of the whole province, but exclude services provided through dedicated networks. Statistics are mainly provided by Guangdong Communications Administration and corresponding enterprises, including China Post, China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, China TieTong, and China Netcom.
