2 General Survey Brief Introduction      ¢ñ.The summary data in this chapter reflect the scale, level, speed, structure, proportion and efficiency of the national economy, science and technology and the social development of Guangdong Province, also covering statistics of basic units and related indicators on key enterprise groups and the macroeconomic climate of enterprises.      ¢ò.The data are prepared and provided by the Division of Comprehensive Statistics, the Census Center of Statistics Bureau of Guangdong Province and the Survey Office in Guangdong of National Bureau of Statistics respectively.ª±      ¢ó.The summary data are processed and prepared on the basis of the annual reports of various specialized fields provided by Statistics Bureau of Guangdong Province and the statistics provided by the National Bureau of Statistics and some related departments of Guangdong Province.ª±      ¢ô. The data on basic industrial units are prepared on the principle of location. The data of 2008 are prepared in accordance with 2008 Guangdong National Economic Census, and some data may be slightly different from the data officially confirmed by the National Bureau of Statistics. Corporate units and industrial establishments of the primary industry in 2008 include multi-industrial units that incorporate the secondary and tertiary industries.          V. The data on business climate are calculated on the basis of survey results of 2,846 sample enterprises of various sizes in various sectors across the province mainly in accordance with the industrial statistical reporting scheme stipulated by the National Bureau of Statistics.
